Today, a meeting of the committee on judicial and legal issues, law enforcement, combating crime, and countering corruption took place in the Jogorku Kenesh, where the bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" was reviewed in the framework of the second reading.
The chairman of the committee, Suyunbek Omurzakov, presented information about the bill.
He noted that the purpose of the document is to reduce the level of begging, minimize its negative impact on public order, and enhance road safety by excluding begging on the roadway. Special attention is given to protecting vulnerable categories of citizens from exploitation.
The deputies approved the bill in the second reading without discussions.
