Robert Prosinečki, the head coach of the national team, spoke about the specifics of working with the main team and the modern requirements for football players competing at the international level. Edmar de Lacerda, coach of the Olympic team (U-23), shared his experience in training young players, while FIFA invited expert Rogério Barros presented modern approaches to identifying and developing football talents.
Panel discussions became the central element of the program. Participants discussed key issues related to youth development, improving the efficiency of football academies, and the transparency of selection for national teams.
On the second day, KFU Technical Director Dainis Kazakevich delivered a report on modern training methods and the long-term strategy for the development of football in the country. Q&A sessions provided an opportunity for regional coaches to discuss relevant issues regarding personnel training with KFU leadership.
The Congress aimed to create a platform for exchanging experiences and implementing modern standards for training football players. Currently, there are 1,339 registered coaches in Kyrgyzstan working in sports schools, clubs, and national teams. This forum has become an important step in systematizing their work and strengthening the country's football infrastructure.
