According to the data from the State Registration Service, there are over 1.9 million vehicles registered in the country. This leads to frequent road traffic accidents. Since the beginning of 2026, as of March 13, about 28 thousand motorists have obtained OSAGO, which accounts for 1.56% of the total number. During this period, 499 traffic accidents occurred, and owners of the damaged vehicles received 50 million 628 thousand soms in payouts.
In 2025, 353 thousand citizens insured their liability. In the same year, 901 traffic accidents were recorded, resulting in compensation payments to vehicle owners amounting to 86 million 238 thousand soms.

In 2025, the number of insured vehicles by region was distributed as follows:
Chuy Region — 44,827 (11.92%); Osh Region — 63,230 (16.76%); Jalal-Abad Region — 34,066 (14.85%); Batken Region — 27,192 (25.19%); Talas Region — 14,123 (23.75%); Issyk-Kul Region — 28,896 (22.36%); Naryn Region — 21,760 (38.46%). The organization conducts ongoing work to inform the population in collaboration with local authorities. There are about 1,500 OSAGO agents operating in the regions.
The most convenient way to obtain car insurance is online. There is no need to visit offices, and many mobile applications offer the possibility of obtaining an OSAGO policy. To register, it is sufficient to have a passport, a driver's license, and the vehicle's technical passport.

— Can we assert that the culture of liability insurance among vehicle owners is growing based on this data?
With the increase in the number of insured vehicles, the amount of payouts also rises, as does the public's trust in our organization. This, in turn, leads to annual growth in indicators. In 2023, citizens received 27 million soms in payouts, in 2024 — 70 million soms, in 2025 — 146 million soms, and just in the first two months of the current year, 81 million soms have already been paid out. This year, it is planned to reach 400 million soms in payouts.

The culture of insurance is indeed showing growth. In 2025, the number of insured citizens reached 360,928, which is almost 20% of the total number of vehicle owners.
