OJSC "State Insurance Organization" has announced the introduction of a new voluntary insurance policy called "CASCO-Extra." This product expands the boundaries of mandatory auto liability insurance (OSAGO) and offers car owners additional guarantees.
The company noted that standard OSAGO provides protection against civil liability to third parties. However, if the driver is found to be at fault in an accident, the damage to their vehicle is usually not covered. The "CASCO-Extra" policy was created for such cases.
The principle of operation of the new policy is based on "mirror" protection: if the driver is found at fault in the accident, the standard OSAGO policy compensates the losses of the affected party, while "CASCO-Extra" compensates for the damage to the policyholder's own vehicle. Thus, the client receives double protection: liability to other road users under OSAGO and protection of their vehicle under the additional policy.
Access to the product is available to individuals who have a valid OSAGO policy, and the registration occurs without the need for an additional vehicle inspection. The price of "CASCO-Extra" is comparable to the cost of OSAGO and is calculated based on the remaining term of the main policy. Similar coefficients are applied, including the bonus-malus system. Service for both policies is uniform, and the settlement of insurance claims is carried out promptly. Both policies are designed to have no deductible.
The maximum insurance amount is up to 450,000 soms, and the limit per insurance case is up to 150,000 soms.
The insurance coverage includes damage to the vehicle in an accident if the driver is found at fault, as well as damage caused by fire or explosion resulting from the incident. The product does not replace traditional CASCO but rather makes insurance protection more accessible, operating within the cases covered by OSAGO.
The launch of "CASCO-Extra" was a response to numerous customer requests expressing the need for additional protection for their vehicles at a reasonable price.
The contract for "CASCO-Extra" is issued for a term not exceeding the validity of OSAGO and automatically terminates upon cancellation or expiration of the main policy. The insurance premium is determined proportionally to the remaining term of the OSAGO.
OJSC "State Insurance Organization" occupies one of the leading positions among insurance companies in Kyrgyzstan and offers a wide range of insurance services for both individuals and legal entities.
