Nurlan Ataybekov, a resident of Bishkek, recently became involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of Mahatma Gandhi and Mozhaysky streets. His Samsung sedan was hit by a HOWO truck.
According to Ataybekov, the traffic police arrived promptly at the scene of the accident, after which his car was sent to the impound lot. Following this, the insurer conducted an inspection and assessed the damage, and less than a month later, Nurlan received compensation of 150,000 soms.

Marlen Nurbekov also faced a traffic accident problem, with damages amounting to 327,000 soms. His insurance company covered 150,000 soms of this amount.

Another resident of the capital, Adilet Torobekov, encountered an accident at the end of February: a dog unexpectedly ran onto the road, and he could not avoid hitting it. He had a CASCO policy that insured his vehicle.

It is worth noting that the Bishkek branch of the State Insurance Organization has already paid compensation to 31 drivers under OSAGO and CASCO policies totaling 2,906,000 soms.
OSAGO is mandatory insurance for civil liability of vehicle owners, while CASCO is voluntary insurance for the vehicle itself, which is not mandatory for citizens.
