At the tournament, which featured athletes under the age of 19, Kaparov demonstrated impressive results in the 80 kg weight category. His journey to bronze began with a victory in the quarterfinals against Algerian boxer Abdelmajid Huari.
However, in the semifinals, the Kyrgyzstani faced a strong opponent from Kazakhstan, Timur Taibekov, and despite a tough fight, he was unable to advance further, finishing the competition with a bronze medal to his name.
This is not Kaparov's first medal on the international stage: in August 2025, he also secured third place at the Asian Youth Championship, highlighting his consistent achievements in boxing at a high level.
