The changes concern the law on guarantees of presidential activities and the status of the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Earlier, residents of the village of Chon-Aryk appealed to President Sadyr Japarov with a request to address the problem of the lack of educational institutions. In response, the president instructed to allocate a plot of 10.48 hectares in the area of State Residence No. 1 in Chon-Aryk. This land is planned for the construction of modern schools, kindergartens, and health complexes.
According to current legislation, the allocation of land within the residence was prohibited. In this regard, the government proposes to amend the law to allow the allocation of land for social needs on the territory of the residence at the president's direction, while ensuring all necessary safety measures.
