The National Statistical Committee previously emphasized that the main goal of this initiative is to collect comprehensive, objective, and reliable data on the state and structure of agriculture in the country.
The collected information will become an important tool for shaping effective agricultural policy, supporting food security, and sustainable development of rural areas.
The census will provide accurate data on a number of key indicators, including:
- the number and structure of agricultural enterprises and farms of various forms of ownership;
- the diversity and volumes of agricultural products produced;
- available land, labor, and material resources;
- livestock and poultry numbers;
- features of farm organization and the level of mechanization.
The census is scheduled to be completed in April 2026.
