The first batch of fresh carrots from Kyrgyzstan, weighing a total of 20.7 tons, has arrived in the Perm Krai. This was reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration.

According to the agency, no such products were delivered to the region during the same period last year.

“Employees of our administration, in cooperation with specialists from the Perm branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution 'VNIIKR', conducted an inspection of the accompanying documents and took samples. A phytosanitary certificate was provided for the carrots. During the phytosanitary control, no violations were detected, and quarantine organisms were absent in the products,” the official statement notes.
