According to the city hall, the mayor expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of the market.
“Despite the efforts made over the year to improve and beautify the area, the oversight from the responsible services has proven insufficient. As a result, the situation has reverted to previous conditions: street trading has resumed, and the overall condition of the area has deteriorated,” the official statement said.
Following the meeting, the following decisions were made:
- Kubandyk Akmatbekov, head of the organizational and control department of the city hall, was dismissed;
- Zhanybek Orozaliev, akim of the Oktobersky district, was also relieved of his duties;
- The first deputy akim of the Oktobersky district, Mayrambek Adylbekov, lost his position.
Due to inadequate oversight and failure to fulfill their duties, disciplinary measures were taken:
- Warnings were issued to the deputy mayors Azamat Kadyrov and Ramiz Aliyev;
- Reprimands were given to the head of the Municipal Enterprise “City Road and Transport Infrastructure” Asylbek uulu Bakai and the head of the municipal inspection Mirlanbek Talaybekov.
Additionally, an investigation has been initiated regarding the compliance of the head of the economics and finance department of the Oktobersky district administration with their position.
