Energy officials confirmed that this will happen on April 1
Starting April 1, 2026, all power restrictions imposed during peak load hours on electrical networks in Kyrgyzstan will be lifted. This decision was announced by the Ministry of Energy.
The lifting of restrictions is related to the end of the heating season for 2025–2026.
It should be noted that temporary restrictions were introduced in response to the low level of accumulated water in the Toktogul Reservoir to ensure stable energy supply.
