The designer was sentenced to four years of probation
At a session held on March 26, the Bishkek City Court reviewed the case of Ernist Zheentaev and decided to release him right in the courtroom. The judicial panel reported the results of the session.
The court overturned the district court's decision, declaring Zheentaev not guilty under Article 332 Part 1, but upheld the verdict under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result, the designer was sentenced to probation for a period of four years.
It is worth reminding that Ernist Zheentaev, who worked as a designer on several media projects, was arrested in November 2025 on charges related to Articles 278 Part 3 and 332 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
