The mayor emphasized the importance of careful maintenance and watering of young trees while planting plane tree saplings.
He noted: "The effectiveness of all our efforts depends on the quality of care for the green spaces."
Since the beginning of the spring campaign, about 6 thousand new trees and shrubs have been planted in Bishkek.
Currently, the nursery of MP "Bishkekzelenstroy" has 93 thousand saplings.
The city administration reminds that in 2025, the survival rate of the planted green spaces was 86 percent. This year, the authorities are strengthening initiatives for greening the capital and urging both residents and organizations to participate in landscaping and caring for green areas.
It is worth noting that Bishkek is currently undergoing a two-month campaign dedicated to landscaping, sanitation, and greening the city.
On March 28, about 4,200 organizations and business entities, as well as over 37 thousand citizens, participated in a citywide cleanup day.
As a result, 624 hectares of land were cleared, 330 tons of garbage were removed, trees were whitewashed, and 33.82 kilometers of irrigation networks, ditches, and canals were cleaned. Approximately 500 new trees were planted.
