Water, Energy, and Food Security Discussed in CSTO

Recently, the Secretary General of the CSTO, Taalatbek Masadykov, met with the Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Fyodor Voytolovsky. During this discussion, they exchanged views on a number of pressing issues related to peace and stability in the CSTO's area of responsibility, as reported by the organization's press service.

The meeting was part of a series of events organized to discuss with representatives of the scientific and expert community of the member states of the organization.

During the event, special attention was paid to non-military challenges such as water, energy, and food security.

Additionally, plans were discussed for holding an international scientific and practical conference titled "Contours of a New Architecture of Collective Security: Current Issues of CSTO Information and Analytical Partnership," scheduled for April 27 at MGIMO of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
