According to the updates, the procedure for conducting mobilization reserve gatherings has been clarified, which now represent a set of activities for training citizens in military accounting specialties for use in both peacetime and wartime.
In accordance with the new document:
- citizens aged 22 to 40, without military experience or who have completed alternative service, must undergo 30-day gatherings, paying a fee of 50,000 soms;
- men under 30 with higher education, who are in the first category reserve, are also required to undergo 30-day gatherings, but with a fee of 70,000 soms;
- citizens are subject to registration only after paying the established fee.
Changes have also been made to the procedure for undergoing alternative service:
- citizens called up for family circumstances must pay 18,000 soms, while those recognized as partially fit due to health reasons will pay 25,000;
- citizens who, for religious beliefs or who wish to perform socially useful work, are required to complete the established volume and pay 25,000 soms.
It should be noted that payments must be made in stages, with at least one-sixth of the total amount due each quarter. The term of alternative service begins from the moment of conscription.
This resolution will come into effect ten days after its official publication.
