Alternative service includes the following conditions:
- citizens called up due to family circumstances or who have health restrictions must make a monetary contribution;
- members of registered religious organizations whose teachings do not permit the use of weapons, as well as those wishing to perform socially useful work, must work 48 hours over the entire period of service and make a monetary contribution.
At least one-sixth of the total contribution amount must be paid each quarter.Citizens undergoing alternative service will be directed to local authorities to perform socially useful work. After completing the work, they will receive a certificate of the number of hours and tasks completed, which must be presented to the military commissariat.
