The Kyrgyzstan national arm wrestling team won 87 medals at the World Cup
At the World Cup in arm wrestling held in Tashkent, the team from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated an outstanding result, winning 87 medals of various degrees. More than 1,500 athletes from 26 countries participated in these competitions.

The General Secretary of the Kyrgyz National Arm Wrestling Federation (KNFA), Yulia Shalyapina, noted in an interview with 24.kg that this event brought together the best athletes from around the world and became an important milestone in the international sports calendar.

As a result of the medal standings, the KNFA team across various categories, including cadets, juniors, youth, para-athletes, seniors, and masters, won:




Yulia Shalyapina emphasized that this is a record number of awards for the team at the World Cup. “These achievements are the result of character, hard work, and team spirit,” she added.

She also noted that the success was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of athletes, coaches, judges, federation leadership, and everyone who supported the team and believed in it.

In addition, the team took second place in the overall team medal standings.
