Kyrgyzstan Football Championship: How the Second Round of the Premier League Went
In Bishkek and Kant, the concluding matches of the second round of the Kyrgyzstan Football Championship in the Premier League took place.

In one of the most anticipated matches, "Dordoi" from the capital could not secure a victory against "AziyaGol" at the NAFC KFS stadium, with the match ending in a 0:0 draw. Before the game, both teams honored the memory of the outstanding Kyrgyz football player and coach Boris Podkorytov with a moment of silence. "AziyaGol" goalkeeper Daniil Polyansky was named the best player of the match.

The team "Abdysh-Ata," which finished third last season, suffered its second consecutive defeat, losing to "Bishkek City" with a minimal score of 0:1. Islam Mejitov, who scored the only goal in the 58th minute, was also named the best player of the match.

The day concluded with a southern derby, where "Neftchi" from Kochkor-Ata faced "Alay" from Osh. The club from Osh won with a score of 2:0, thanks to goals from Artem Fyodorov (18th minute) and Doniyor Ismailov (84th). Mirzokhid Mamatkhonov was recognized as the MVP of this match.

In other matches of the second round, held on March 7, "Talant" secured a confident victory over "Aziya" with a score of 4:1, while "Alga" from Bishkek crushed "OshMU" with a result of 3:0.

On March 6, "Toktogul" managed to defeat "Ilbirs" from Bishkek in a tense match with a score of 3:2, while "Uzgen" won against "Kyrgyzaltyn" — 2:1.

The match between "Muras United" and the reigning champions "Bars" from Karakol was postponed to a later date.

This season, 2026, the Premier League features 16 teams. The championship of the previous season was won by "Bars" from Karakol.
