A contract with the new coach has been signed for one year, with the possibility of further extension.
In addition to An, his assistant will be Timur Babakhanov, also representing Uzbekistan.
Previously, Dmitry An worked at the "Pakhtakor" club, where he was involved in training at the FC "Pakhtakor" academy last season.
In the 2025 season, the "Neftchi" team was under the leadership of Uzbek Alexander Mochinov, and then Kyrgyz Anatoly Vlasichev. As a result, the team finished the Kyrgyz Premier League championship in 9th place out of 14 possible.
