
The Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan has officially confirmed the appointment of Robert Prosinečki as the head coach of the national team. The contract was signed on December 10 in the presence of the president of the KFB, Kamchibek Tashiev.
The agreement with the Croatian specialist is for one year and one month, with the possibility of extending it for three years in case of successful performance at the 2027 Asian Cup.
Prosinečki is a well-known figure in the world of football, having previously played for clubs such as "Real", "Barcelona", and "Crvena Zvezda". He is also a bronze medalist from the 1998 World Cup. Throughout his career, he has led the national teams of Croatia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Montenegro.
The new coach will start his work soon and is developing a training plan for the upcoming matches.
