Liam Rosenior, who is 41 years old, has become the new head coach of Chelsea, replacing Enzo Maresca, who left the club in early January.

Previously, Rosenior worked with the French club Strasbourg, with which he achieved seventh place in Ligue 1 and qualified for the UEFA Conference League. Both clubs are under the ownership of BlueCo. The new contract with the English coach is set until 2032.

In his first statement, Rosenior emphasized the importance of team spirit, unity, and a winning mentality, noting that his goal is to maintain Chelsea's identity and continue the tradition of winning trophies.

This appointment comes amid a challenging period for the team: Chelsea has won only one of its last eight Premier League matches. However, in the latest match, the team drew with Manchester City under the guidance of interim coach Callum McFarlane.

Rosenior's first test will be a London derby against Fulham, after which Chelsea will face Charlton in the FA Cup.
