The athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Myktybek Orolbai Uulu, is preparing for his next fight in the UFC, as announced by the event organizers.
His fight will take place at UFC Fight Night 269, scheduled for March 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
In the welterweight bout, the Kyrgyzstani will face American Chris Curtis.
Orolbai Uulu is on a two-fight winning streak, both victories coming by stoppage: he finished Tofig Musaev from Azerbaijan with a kimura and knocked out Jack Hermansson from Sweden. Previously, the 27-year-old athlete suffered his first defeat in the UFC, losing by split decision to Mateusz Rebecki from Poland.
In his last fight, Chris Curtis won by split decision against Max Griffin. The 38-year-old American ended his two-fight losing streak, which he suffered against Brendan Allen and Roman Kopylov.
It is worth noting that Myktybek Orolbai Uulu moved up to welterweight from lightweight last year, and Curtis is also having his second fight in the new division after moving up from middleweight.
