At the OCTAGON 81 tournament held on November 8 in Almaty (Kazakhstan), the 21-year-old Kyrgyz athlete faced Brazilian Silvânia Monteiro (11-4). In this match, the championship belt in the women's minimum division, which belongs to Abduyeva, was at stake.
Farida won by technical knockout at the last second of the first round, thus retaining her title.
She won the title on April 19 at the OCTAGON 71 tournament, taking it from Kazakhstani Ayan Tursyn.
