On the channel "Kramarovsky on Air" on YouTube, a new episode has been published in which Ilya Kramarovsky analyzes the thoughts of Bloomberg columnist Hal Brands titled "Why China and Russia Are Not Afraid of the U.S.".

In the video, Kramarovsky highlights the central ideas of the article, which addresses the diminishing influence of the U.S. on the global stage and the changing perceptions of American power by China and Russia.

Hal Brands emphasizes that Donald Trump's foreign policy strategy is based on demonstrating power through sanctions, economic pressure, and tariffs. The author of the article believes that this approach works against weaker countries but is ineffective against rivals like Moscow and Beijing.

Kramarovsky, commenting on Brands' arguments, focuses on the paradoxical nature of American power: it can threaten but no longer instills fear, as internal disagreements and a loss of strategic focus lie behind the external display of strength.

"America speaks the language of power, but with each passing moment, its words lose meaning," Kramarovsky quotes Brands.

The host emphasizes that Russia and China act with calculation and develop long-term strategies, while U.S. policy becomes increasingly impulsive, focused on short-term results and external gestures.

According to Kramarovsky, Moscow and Beijing think in terms of time and resource accumulation, while Washington focuses on immediate results and headlines. This, in his opinion, is the main difference in strategic cultures.

"Modern America is a superpower that is mired in a spectacle of its own might, where external bravado hides internal fragmentation," the journalist noted.

Ilya Kramarovsky emphasizes that the conclusions drawn by Hal Brands reflect a growing awareness among Western media: the era of a unipolar world is fading into the past, and the U.S. can no longer unilaterally set the global agenda.
