
The meeting between Zheenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the special envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Korea, Lee Uk-hon, took place to discuss current issues of bilateral and multilateral relations.
During the conversation, the focus was on cooperation within the framework of the "Central Asia + Republic of Korea" dialogue. Kulubaev emphasized the importance of deepening political dialogue and practical cooperation, noting that the December visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Korea in 2024 marked a new stage for Kyrgyz-Korean relations.
Lee Uk-hon expressed the Korean side's interest in expanding cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
Additionally, plans for joint activities in 2026 were discussed, including the organization of high-level visits.
