
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zheenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with Lee Uk-hon, who is the Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
During the negotiations, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed, including interaction within the framework of the "Central Asia + Republic of Korea" dialogue.
Kulubaev noted the importance of deepening political dialogue and practical cooperation, adding that the December visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Korea in 2024 marked a new stage in the development of Kyrgyz-Korean relations.
Lee Uk-hon expressed the Korean side's interest in expanding cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
Plans for organizing joint events in 2026 were also discussed, including reciprocal visits at high and top levels.
