Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tajikistan to Arrive in Bishkek

The next meeting of the Collective Security Council (CSTO) will be held under the chairmanship of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, in Bishkek. This information was announced by the head of the foreign policy department of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sagynbek Abdumutalip.

The event is scheduled for November 26-27, 2025, and will be an important milestone within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the CSTO.

Presidents of the member states are expected to participate in the meeting: Alexander Lukashenko (Belarus), Kassym-Jomart Tokayev (Kazakhstan), Vladimir Putin (Russia), and Emomali Rahmon (Tajikistan).

At the conclusion of the event, it is planned to sign more than ten decisions aimed at improving collective defense mechanisms, developing cooperation in the field of security, and military-political issues among the member states.

In 2026, the chairmanship of the CSTO will pass to the Russian Federation, which will ensure the continuation and development of joint initiatives within the organization, as noted by Sagynbek Abdumutalip.
