Russian. Born in the stanitsa of Otradnaya, Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation.
Graduated from the agronomy faculty of KSHI (1952).
Worked as a laboratory assistant, junior researcher, and senior researcher at the Institute of Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR; since 1998, he has been the Deputy Director for Science at the BP Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of botany, rational use of herbaceous ecosystems of the mid-mountains of the Tian Shan.
Published more than 60 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 1 invention.
