- Analysts of the EDB presented an assessment of the industrial potential of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025.

According to the bank's data, the annual growth of industrial production in the country could amount to $2.1 billion. The study identified four sectors with high growth potential.

Increasing processing in these areas positively impacts metallurgy, the agricultural sector, energy resources, and services.

Small open economies, by changing production structures, can achieve significant gains through more complex exports and localization of value-added chains.

“Kyrgyzstan is among those economies that can achieve a ‘structural leap’ through processing, development of competencies, and integration with neighboring markets,” the authors of the study emphasize.

Additionally, the EDB expects rapid export growth of 25–28% in the republic.
