At a press conference at the "Kabar" agency, the director of the Creative Industries Park, Kanyshai Mamytoova, announced that in 2025, the total revenue of the residents amounted to 516 million soms.
She specified that the residents of the Park benefit significantly from a special tax regime. Instead of standard profit and VAT taxes, they pay a revenue tax annually. In 2023 and 2024, this tax was 0.5%, in 2025-2026 it will increase to 1%, and in 2027 it will be 2%.
“For comparison, residents pay 1% revenue tax, while companies not included in the Creative Industries Park are required to pay taxes ranging from 4-6%, depending on the method of calculations. There are also benefits for income tax and social contributions. Since in creative companies the main product is created by the labor and creativity of people, rather than machines or raw materials, the main expense is employee salaries. Under our tax regime, residents pay 5% income tax instead of 10%, and social contributions are not fixed and do not depend on salary levels, which relieves employers from these contributions,” Mamytoova added.
She also reported that in the third quarter of 2024, residents of the Creative Industries Park earned about 44 million soms, paying 262 thousand soms in unified tax, while creating 93 new jobs. For the entire year of 2025, the total revenue amounted to 516 million soms, and the total tax contributions reached 5 million 165 thousand soms, with 591 jobs created.
