According to their data, in cooperation with the fuel marking operator OJSC "Uchkyn," more than 2 million 142 thousand tons of fuel and lubricants were marked by December 1, 2025.
In the 11 months of 2025, the excise tax on fuel and lubricants amounted to 3 billion 736.7 million soms, which is nearly 80 million soms more compared to the same period last year.
“It is worth noting that from October 1, 2024, mandatory marking of gasoline and diesel fuel using special molecular markers is in effect in Kyrgyzstan. Both imported and local fuel are subject to marking. From January 1, 2025, the use of unmarked gasoline and diesel fuel will be prohibited,” the message states.
The Tax Service emphasizes that this marking system helps combat the illegal circulation of fuel and lubricants, improves fuel quality, and makes the process of collecting excise tax more transparent.
