The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Orenburg Region halted an attempt to illegally import 8.6 tons of frozen dumplings from Kyrgyzstan at the Russian-Kazakh border. The agency's press service reported this incident.

It became known that the product did not meet veterinary requirements. Some of the dumplings lacked the necessary veterinary documents and had not undergone the full set of laboratory tests, which violates the sanitary standards of the Eurasian Economic Union. Additionally, the documentation lacked information about the region's status concerning acute infectious diseases.

As a result, the truck driver who delivered the dumplings with violations was held administratively liable, and the detained goods were returned to the place of origin.
