The Chui Electric Network, part of OJSC "Kyrgyzstan UET," announced its plans for 2026, which include the construction of new key facilities. This was reported in a press release from the Ministry of Energy.

Among the planned constructions are the 110/35/10 kV "Manas" substations, the second phase of the 220/35/10 kV "Chui" substation, as well as the 110/35/10 kV "Kün-Tuu" and 35/10 kV "Leninskaya" substations.

Additionally, as part of the modernization program, the upgrade of power transmission lines is planned. Old overhead lines will be replaced with modern self-supporting insulated wires (SIP). It is expected that 15.67 km of 10 kV lines and 103.81 km of 0.4 kV lines will be replaced, along with the reconstruction of cable lines measuring 0.37 km at 10 kV and 0.15 km at 0.4 kV.

A workshop for the production of reinforced concrete poles will also be built on the territory of the Chui enterprise. As part of the modernization in the region, the replacement of 2,800 poles and the installation of five new transformers are planned.

Among the main areas of work, digitalization is also highlighted. In 2026, it is planned to install over 80,000 smart electricity meters (ASCUE), as well as major repairs of 785 transformer substations and maintenance of 5,176 substations.

The implementation of these measures should ensure reliable and stable power supply, improve the quality of services provided, guarantee uninterrupted electricity supply, and reduce the risk of emergency situations for consumers.
