Since the beginning of 2025, 28,000 smart meters have been installed in the capital, distributed across the districts as follows:
- Lenin District - 9,140;
- Sverdlov District - 4,659;
- First May District - 11,742;
- October District - 2,374.
- transmit readings to the server in real-time;
- automatically disconnect electricity when the declared capacity is exceeded;
- disconnect electricity in case of debt and restore supply after payment;
- inform about attempts of unauthorized access;
- improve the quality of supplied electricity;
- reduce the risks of electricity theft and minimize interaction between controllers and consumers;
- protect equipment from overloads.
