In the Naryn region, activities for the digitalization of power grids are actively being implemented to improve the quality of service for the population.
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, it is planned to install an automated commercial electricity accounting system (ACES) for 32,753 subscribers by 2025. Currently, the system has already been implemented for 30,643 consumers, which is 94% of the planned amount. Completion of all installation work is expected by the end of November.
This initiative is carried out by the branch of OJSC "NESC" — the Naryn Electric Networks Enterprise, and aims to create a convenient and reliable accounting system for users.
Data on the installation of ACES in various districts:
Ak-Talaa — planned 6,488, actually installed 6,298;
At-Bashy — planned 10,113, actually installed 8,936;
Jumgal — planned 8,058, actually installed 7,753;
Naryn — planned 3,289, actually installed 3,171;
Toguz-Toro — planned 4,805, actually installed 4,485.
“The implementation of ACES is an important step in digitalization that will enhance the quality, accuracy, and reliability of electricity supply in the Naryn region. These activities create conveniences for consumers and contribute to strengthening the energy security of the region,” the official statement says.
