The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic launched the "Protection Order" system for digital monitoring of domestic violence.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has introduced a new automated information system called "Protection Order." This system is designed for electronic accounting of temporary protection orders and risk assessment protocols related to cases of domestic violence, as well as for digital monitoring of compliance with the conditions of these orders.

According to the department, this project aims to modernize and digitize the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in protecting citizens from domestic violence.

As part of this initiative, a working meeting was held at the ministry with the participation of representatives from the Main Department of Information Technologies, the Public Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Bishkek, as well as employees of the developer, the State Institution "Ukuq," operating under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and an expert from the project "Promotion of Integrated Information Management in the Field of Criminal Justice in the Kyrgyz Republic."

During the meeting, the final stages of the system's implementation were discussed, and the readiness of the infrastructure and personnel of the First May District Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, which was selected as the pilot unit for testing the new system, was assessed.

The launch of the "Protection Order" system is a significant step within the framework of the state program for digital transformation.
