According to the agency, the project became possible thanks to Russian investments, which amounted to about $5 million at the beginning.
Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that there were no similar enterprises in the aviation sector in the Kyrgyz Republic before. This project illustrates that it is possible to create modern aviation training and service centers in the country.
The head of the agency also emphasized that the initiative will contribute to attracting investments, creating new jobs, and developing the technological base. Currently, 15 Kyrgyz pilots are undergoing training in Russia, who will take positions in the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, and other organizations after completing their studies. The agency expresses its readiness to support the project, including providing customs preferences.
In the future, it is planned to open a training and simulation complex, which will be equipped with a simulator for the Mi-171 helicopter and classrooms designed for training civil aviation pilots, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, and cadets of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute.
