During their visit to the free economic zone "Bishkek," the delegation of the National Investment Agency under the President studied the implementation of the investment project by the company "Heli Sky." The press service of the agency reported that the participants familiarized themselves with the production capabilities of the Mi-8 and Mi-171 helicopter maintenance center and received information about the current status and development plans for this project.
The main focus was on expanding the center's capabilities. In 2026, it is planned to install a flight simulator for the Mi-171 helicopter and create an interactive classroom. This innovation will allow for the training and retraining of flight personnel directly in Kyrgyzstan, which will enhance the accessibility of specialized education and reduce dependence on foreign educational institutions.
Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, emphasized the importance of this project for the country's economy and aviation sector.
“It is important for us to observe not only the stated intentions but also the real achievements and clear plans for the future. This project demonstrates that the creation of modern aviation service and training centers is possible in Kyrgyzstan. Such initiatives contribute to attracting investments, creating jobs, training specialists, and strengthening the technological base of the country,” he stressed.
Additionally, during the visit, agency representatives familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of the regional spare parts warehouse and assessed the conditions created for production and technical activities.
The implementation of this project is seen as an important step in the development of Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure and the formation of modern service capabilities in this field.
