Recently, Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company "WenC Company." The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the organization of an international consortium for the implementation of a large-scale integrated project in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region. The press service of the agency reported this event.
The planned project includes the construction of a coal mine and several thermal power plants, as well as the creation of infrastructure for a center for intelligent computing and the deployment of computing equipment networks. The consortium includes international companies such as Qiyan Holdings Limited, "Uhui," and Bitmain Technology Ltd., which have significant experience in the fields of coal mining, energy, and intelligent technologies.
During the meeting, the main parameters of the project were discussed, as well as possible mechanisms for public-private partnership and measures of state support.
Sabirov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is actively strengthening its legal and institutional tools to attract large investments, creating favorable conditions for the development of industry, energy, and the digital economy.
Attention was also drawn to the socio-economic impact of the project: the creation of new jobs, the development of production and energy infrastructure, the increase of the region's investment attractiveness, and the formation of a new technological cluster in Central Asia are planned.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue cooperation and prepare the next stages of project implementation.
