The international exhibition "Kyrgyzstan EXPO — 2025" has opened its doors in Bishkek. More than 150 companies and over a thousand entrepreneurs from various countries are participating, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Germany, Hungary, Iran, and Mongolia.
The exhibition covers numerous sectors such as agriculture, textiles, banking, information technology, logistics, energy, and tourism.
Revival of Industry and Business Support
According to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, this event is an important tool for uniting capital, technology, and entrepreneurial activity. He noted that Kyrgyzstan has managed to complete the economic development program ahead of schedule by 2026 and launch a new one until 2030.
"In the 1990s, many CIS countries, including ours, experienced a significant decline in industry. Now we are on the path to reviving this sector, paying special attention to small and medium-sized businesses. Sustainable GDP growth allows us to be a reliable partner in both imports and exports. We are open to cooperation," said the head of the government.

He also emphasized that debureaucratization has been carried out in the country, significantly simplifying conditions for entrepreneurs and creating a transparent and predictable business environment where businessmen feel like partners of the state.
Kyrgyzstan is actively participating in the "One Belt, One Road" project, aimed at connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa through an extensive network of transport routes. This creates new investment and trade opportunities for the country.

According to estimates, the volume of the domestic e-commerce market will reach 525 million dollars in 2025, which is 15% more than the previous year. The share of e-commerce in retail sales is about 13%, while globally this figure is 5%.
Kasymaliev added that 77 new industrial enterprises have recently been put into operation.
The trade and logistics infrastructure is also developing: the country already has 38 large centers where exporters can store their products until more favorable selling conditions arise.
The Exhibition as a Reflection of Kyrgyz Business
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Temir Sariev, noted that the exhibition "Kyrgyzstan EXPO — 2025" represents the modern face of Kyrgyz business.
He highlighted three key objectives of this event:

The head of the National Investment Agency under the President, Ravshan Sabirov, emphasized that the National Pavilion of the Kyrgyz Republic was awarded a gold medal at the World Expo "EXPO-2025" in Osaka, confirming the country's high potential and cultural heritage.
"We see great prospects for cooperation with international partners in the development of industrial zones, tourism support, and the implementation of digital technologies. Special attention is given to the creation of the investment zone 'Tamchi' on Issyk-Kul and the all-season cluster 'Ala-Too Resort', as well as the 'Asman' project — a city of the future," added Ravshan Sabirov.
Bishkek — the Driving Force of the Economy
The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, noted that Bishkek demonstrates stable economic growth and accounts for 44% of the country's GDP. In the first nine months of 2025, the volume of industrial production exceeded 90.6 billion soms, which is 24% more than in 2024.
Junushaliev also spoke about 933 industrial enterprises in Bishkek, some of which are participating in the exhibition. Investments of over 1 billion dollars have been attracted to the capital, which have gone into the construction of a solid waste recycling plant and treatment facilities, as well as improving water supply and greening the city.
Exhibition Range: From Machinery to Food Products
The exhibition features products from both local and foreign manufacturers. For example, Kazakh producers of flour and pasta have been supplying their products to Kyrgyzstan for many years and held tastings for all interested.

A young entrepreneur from Kyrgyzstan, Adilet Syrdyiev, has founded a company supplying suit fabrics and plans to open a clothing factory in the near future.
The director of the Kara-Balta distillery branch, Nurdin Kutkeev, reported that the state controls the production of alcoholic products, and this enterprise has become one of the major taxpayers, contributing 400 million soms to the budget just this year.
