Kambaratin Hydroelectric Power Station-1 and Investments: The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Held a Meeting with Companies from the USA
During the event, Amangeldiev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is actively implementing large-scale projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and industry. He noted that these initiatives create conditions for sustainable economic growth and contribute to the modernization of the economic structure.
Special attention was given to the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 project, which, according to the deputy chairman, is the largest initiative in this region. The implementation of this project, he emphasized, will ensure energy security and also contribute to the development of industry and the growth of electricity exports.
Amangeldiev also noted that strategic projects have the potential to change the economic landscape of the region, opening new horizons for international business.
To confirm the investment attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan, he also reported that in 2025, the international rating agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings confirmed the country's rating at B+ with a "stable" outlook. This, according to Amangeldiev, reflects the results of the structural reforms carried out and the increasing trust from foreign investors.
In addition, he noted that the state’s tax policy is aimed at supporting investors and developing the business sector.
“The main task of the Cabinet of Ministers is to create a reliable and competitive jurisdiction for long-term investments and technological partnerships in Kyrgyzstan,” he added.
In conclusion, Daniyar Amangeldiev expressed hope that this dialogue will serve as a foundation for launching new projects and strengthening economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and American companies.
