Recently, the sewing factory "Eurasia Group" in the Osh region received a visitor — the head of the National Investment Agency under the President, Ravshanbek Sabirov. According to the agency's press service, during the visit he got acquainted with the implementation process of the investment project related to the construction of the second phase of the factory.
The factory is located in the village of Kashkar-Kyshtak, situated in the Kara-Suu district. One of the main objectives of the visit was to study the progress in expanding the production capacities of the enterprise. The total amount of investments, including the first and subsequent phases, is 40 million dollars.
As part of the second phase, it is planned to expand the existing capacities, as well as to build new sewing workshops and launch modern dyeing production. These changes will ensure a complete production cycle — from creating textile fabric to sewing finished products.
The launch of a full production cycle will significantly reduce dependence on textile product imports and increase the level of localization. In addition, the project has a significant socio-economic effect: the expansion of the factory will create more than 600 new jobs.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized the importance of this project for the development of the light industry in Kyrgyzstan and expressed the government's readiness to provide full support for investment initiatives aimed at improving the situation in the regions and creating jobs.
