Volume of Microloans from January to September 2025
During this period, the largest number of borrowers lived in Bishkek, accounting for 32.5% of the total. The next largest are Osh region (almost 16%), Jalal-Abad (more than 13%), and Chui region (about 11%).
In terms of the amounts of microloans issued, the largest share also belongs to Bishkek (about 28% of the total volume), followed by Osh region (about 16%), Jalal-Abad (14%), and Chui (more than 13%).
Of the total volume of microloans issued to the population over the 9 months of 2025, more than 62% were directed towards consumer needs. More than 15% of the funds went to agricultural development, while 9.5% was allocated to trade and public catering. An increase in the share of loans for consumer needs was recorded at 9.7 percentage points, while the share of loans issued for agriculture decreased by 4.6 percentage points.
