Today, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, conducted an on-site inspection of a number of social and infrastructure facilities. His program included the construction of kindergartens, road improvement works, and coal bases.
The first stop was the construction site of a kindergarten in the Ak-Orgo residential area. Here, on a territory of 0.39 hectares, a two-story building with an area of 877 square meters is being erected, designed for 280 children. The project includes playrooms and sleeping rooms, a cafeteria, a kitchen, a medical office, a laundry room, methodical offices, a music and sports hall, a speech therapy room, and other necessary facilities. Playgrounds and a fuel storage room have already been installed on the adjacent territory, and landscaping work has been completed. The readiness of the facility is 90%, and it is being prepared for opening.
The next inspection site was a kindergarten in the Archa-Beshik area. Here, on a plot of 0.27 hectares, a T-shaped two-story building with a total area of 570 square meters is being constructed, which will accommodate 180 children. Inside, there will be playrooms and sleeping rooms, a cafeteria, a medical office, an isolation room, a laundry room, as well as offices for the head and methodologist, a music hall, and utility rooms. The mayor instructed the contractor to expedite the work and ensure high construction quality.
Next, Junushaliev checked the progress of road works on Cholpon Street, which connects Dolon Biy and Tagai Biy streets. The length of the new section of the road is 670 meters, and the width of the roadway is 7 meters. Sidewalks 2 meters wide are provided on both sides of the road. Curbs and drainage ditches have already been installed, and preparations for the asphalt concrete surface are currently underway. The mayor ordered to speed up the completion of the work and ensure strict quality control.
In conclusion of his working visit, the mayor visited the coal bases of the city. He instructed the municipal inspection to organize raids to check the sanitary condition of these areas, to install high-pressure washers for cleaning truck wheels before entering the city, and to strengthen price control on solid fuel in cooperation with the antimonopoly service.
