According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region, the incident occurred on November 30 at the specified polling station in the village of Sai-Boyu in the Aiyl district named after E. Aliyev.
Police officers found a silver "iPhone 13 Pro Max" with the inscription "Anarbaev Khamzat 359" on a concrete column inside the building. The device was connected to a power bank and was recording video towards the commission members.
This fact was registered with the Internal Affairs Department of the Nooken district, resulting in an investigation being initiated. During the preliminary investigation, no criminal offense was identified in the actions of the involved individuals. Materials were sent regarding the commission members for the application of disciplinary measures, and a notification was issued to the chairman of the district electoral commission, A. Narmatov.
Atabek Narmatov, the chairman of district electoral commission No. 13, confirmed in a conversation with a Turmush correspondent that the Central Election Commission decided to annul the voting results at polling station No. 2410. "After discovering the phone set up above the ballot box, we contacted law enforcement. The CEC, having reviewed all the circumstances, decided to cancel the voting results," noted Narmatov.
