The event took place in his native village of Kaptal-Aryk, at the state memorial complex-museum named after Alykul Osmonov.
Participants included the creative team "Alykul's Daughters," teachers, and poets. The event began with a special prayer in memory of the poet. Then, a teacher from the Jayil District, poet Törökan Kamchybekova, read her original work "Alykul and Confession," while Aikerim Samarova, a teacher of the Kyrgyz language and literature from the Ch. Aitmatov Secondary School in the Sokuluk District, read works by the poet, including the poem "Ata Jurt."
The group "Alykul's Daughters" performed songs with lyrics by A. Osmonov, including "Ata Jurt" and a song about this village, as well as the song "Kaptal-Aryk – Alykul's Village" based on the work of writer Izati Belekova.
At the end of the event, Eliza Karataeva, a methodologist from the Sokuluk District Department of Education and a literary scholar, received the "Alykul Osmonov" badge, and teacher Aikerim Samarova from the Sokuluk District was awarded a Certificate of Honor. "I visited the native village of Alykul Osmonov and his museum for the first time. Having familiarized myself with his personal belongings and photographs, I was deeply moved. I read poems and heard memories about the poet. This has become a spiritual wealth in my work of educating children. I will definitely come here with my students," said Aikerim Samarova.
The museum director and poet Nuridin Jumaliev spoke about the significance of the event. "December 12 is the Day of National Literature, always dedicated to celebrating the works of two great people — Alykul Osmonov and Chyngyz Aitmatov. The 110th anniversary of Alykul Osmonov was celebrated at the international level, and this is a great pride for us. Today we once again remember our poet. As long as the Kyrgyz people live, the great poet Alykul Osmonov and the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov will always be with us. We express our respect to them," he said.
