At the meeting of the Bishkek City Council's commission on municipal property, land issues, urban planning, and architecture, held on December 10, information was revealed about the city's intentions to transfer several non-residential premises to state ownership.

Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov reported that the municipality is requesting permission for the gratuitous transfer of a non-residential property and a land plot located at the corner of Manas Avenue and Toktogul Street.

According to the vice mayor, stores "7 Days" and "Azbuka," as well as a café, previously operated in this building. It was returned to municipal ownership after the work of national security agencies. Currently, the building houses a "single window" service and a meeting room for the Ministry of Construction.

Additionally, there are plans to transfer the museum named after Alykul Osmonov to state ownership, along with the land plot located at: Sokuluksky Lane, 10.

“The museum will remain under the management of the Ministry of Culture and will continue its work,” Kadyrov added.

Following the discussion, the BGK commission approved the draft resolution, which will be submitted to the city council session for further consideration.
