The Vice Mayor of Bishkek, Azamat Kadyrov, during a meeting of the permanent commission of the city council on municipal property and urban planning, announced plans to prohibit scooter parking in certain areas of the capital.

During the meeting, the deputies discussed a draft resolution regarding the regulation of the placement of individual mobility devices in the city.

Deputy Kazybek Ergeshov raised the issue of the number of designated areas allocated for scooter parking and requested clarification on this information.

According to Kadyrov, about 40 sites have already been identified in Bishkek for these purposes.

Ergeshov expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that many users leave scooters in random places and suggested that operators be required to monitor order in this matter.
