During the discussion of the General Plan for the city of Bishkek until 2050, activist Ertai Isakov expressed the idea of the necessity of constructing two-level roads in areas with high traffic loads, including entrances and exits from the city.
Isakov noted that such roads would not have traffic lights or intersections, which, in his opinion, would significantly help reduce congestion in the capital.
In response, Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov clarified that the specific type of roads is not outlined in the general plan, and the project will be considered separately. He added, "Nevertheless, the design of such roads is indeed on the agenda. They are planned for installation in congested areas and at the entrances to the city."
