Transfer of the museum building in Bishkek will save the capital budget 1 million soms

In Bishkek, the city hall has prepared a draft resolution that will be considered by the city council. The document concerns the transfer of a non-residential premises of the museum along with the land plot to state ownership, located at Sokuluksky Lane, 10.

As stated in the justification, this transfer is initiated based on written requests from the capital's Department of Culture and the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy. The goal is to create a unified management system for all museum objects related to the life and work of Alykul Osmonov, as well as to promote national cultural heritage and familiarize the youth with historical values.

It is expected that the transfer of the museum to state ownership will save the local budget 1 million 52.1 thousand soms.

It is important to note that according to current legislation, municipal property can be transferred to state ownership in various ways, such as sale, privatization, exchange, or gratuitous transfer. The last option is carried out with the consent of the local council.
